Presentation

A presentation is the process of presenting a topic to an audience, it is typically a demonstration, introduction, lecture or speech meant to inform, persuade, inspire, motivate or to build good will or to present a new idea or product. Presentation skills are the skills you need in delivering effective and engaging presentations to a variety of audiences. These skills cover a variety of areas such as the structure of your presentation, the design of your slides, the tone of   your voice and the body language you convey. An effective presentation makes the best use of the relationship between the presenter and the audience. It takes full consideration of the audience’s needs in order to capture their interest, develop their understanding, inspire their confidence and achieve the presenter’s objectives. Careful planning is essential. Steps in preparing a presentation are planning your presentation, analyse your audience, select a topic, define the objective of the presentation, preparing the content of your presentation, prepare he body of the presentation and prepare the introduction and conclusion of presentation. To make a good presentation you must follow these steps, show your passion and connect with your audience, focus on your audience’s need, keep simple message, smile and make eye contact, start strongly, tell stories and explain ideas effectively etc.

How to start, continue and finish presentation.

1.      Hello friends/ ladies and gentleman/ viewers (Titles of audience).

2.      Give Your Brief introduction according to situation.

3.      I would like to speak about (Topic Title).

4.      Introduction about topic (all about topic).

5.      Share the special points of topic (Outline the Messages).

6.      Answer the question from audience.

7.      Say “thank you” before leaving podium.

 

 

How to speak in Public (Open speech).

1.      Greet guests and audience.  ( Honourable / Respected/ Lovely etc. +++ Titles of guests++Names if known), e.g. Honourable chief guest Mr. XYZ.

2.      Show your gratitude for their presence. (I am very happy/ glad/ please to see you all here together……).

3.      I congratulate you all for this ………………………….. (Occasion/ celebration etc.).

4.      Explain your topic in brief.

5.      Share some heart touching sentences as message for audience.

6.      Say “thank you” to all audience. (I thank you all for your kind cooperation).

7.      Attractive phrases before closing. (Have a prosperous and happy life/ have a good day/ enjoy yourself/ have fun etc.).

8.      Bye. See you soon.

Note: Maintain dynamic posture and gesture throughout the speech session.

2.Animals:

             .  Hi, I am (Name) happy to present the topic Animals. In this living world we can see millions of living creatures like from tiny insects to large animals and birds. Broadly the animals are classified according to place of living and food habits. Those are land animal and aquatic animal, herbivorous animal, carnivorous animal and omnivorous animal etc. Mostly animals have for feet which are called quarter pad animal. Many animals are reptiles like lizards and snakes. Carnivorous animals feed on flesh, blood and bone while herbivorous animals live eating lives, twigs, crops, grains, vegetables and fodder etc. But the omnivorous animals can eat all types of foods like bears. The land animals live on land whereas the animals live in water are known as aquatic animals. Animals have significant role in environment. Their contributions help to maintain ecological balance in environment. Human beings, the bi-pad animal have dominance over all other animals in the universe. ….

Village:

Hello everybody. I am (Name) would like to share few words about village. The place where people live together, share their happiness and help to each other in grief. The natural surroundings of countryside vibrates with tall trees, creepers, bushes, beautiful flowers, ponds, pools full of flowers and many artificial monuments etc. The fragrance of wild flowers around the village makes the village atmosphere attractive and romantic. Seasonal fruits and vegetables keep villagers healthy and strong. Village economy depends on farming. Harvested grains are consumed to meet the demand of food supply by both villagers and people live in city. Village people lead very simple life. Their living standard is not so good. Their children hardly get good jobs due to lake of good education. But now-a-days government has taken lots of effective steps to improve their standard of living……

Birds:

Hello friends. I am John wish to share some valuable information regarding birds on earth. These are the part of our natural living world. The creator has made many miracles in his creation. Bird is one of them. These living creatures have some special qualities like flying in the sky and living in natural environment. Birds are bi-pad creature. It has two wings, one beak and a tail. Birds are colourful.  Birds are of different kinds on the basis of food habits like herbivores and scavengers, etc.

Cow:

The cow is a four footed animal. It is a domestic animal. Cows colour may be white, brown and black. Cow has two ears and two eyes. It has one long tail and two horns. Cow lives in cowshed. Cow eats grass, gruel, husk, twigs, leaves, gullet and fodder. It gives us milk and cow dung. Milk is used by human being for many purposes like as food, medicine and used in temple. People use cow dung as manure in field to increase the fertility of land. Hindu worship cow as ‘Gomata’.
